How Google review removal actually works

There is no delete button for a review someone else wrote. The only route is to report it to Google and show which specific content policy it breaks; Google then decides. Owners who report reviews themselves are usually refused because they argue the review is unfair rather than pointing at the rule it breaks. Getting that part right is the work we do.

Which Google reviews can be removed

Fake & spam reviewsPeople who never visited, bot-generated reviews, or reviews posted in bulk.
Competitor attacksPosted by competing businesses or their staff. Google treats this as a conflict of interest.
Irrelevant contentThe wrong business, complaints about delivery drivers, off-topic rants.
Policy violationsProfanity, staff names, discriminatory language, conflicts of interest.
What cannot be removedAn honest one-star review from a real customer who had a bad experience is not removable, and no service can remove it. If a review is genuine, the only things that help are a good public response and fixing what went wrong – both of which we can help with. We will tell you plainly, in the free audit, which of your reviews qualify and which do not.

Frequently asked questions

You can report a review from your own profile, and it costs nothing to try. Reports filed by owners are usually refused because they argue the review is unfair rather than pointing at the specific content policy it breaks. Building that case, and escalating when the first report is rejected, is the part we do.
The first report is filed within 48 hours. Google usually responds in a few days, and a case that needs escalation typically runs 2–6 weeks. Cases usually need more than one round of reporting.
Reviews that break platform policy: spam, fake reviews, competitor attacks, conflicts of interest, offensive content, staff names, and complaints about something other than your business. Legitimate customer feedback cannot be removed, and we will tell you so in the free audit.
£75 per review, invoiced by email only after that review has been removed. The audit is free, there is no retainer, and reviews that stay up cost you nothing.
Yes. We use the reporting process each platform provides and reference the specific clause of its published content policy that a review breaks. We do not write, buy or incentivise reviews, and removal is always the platform's own decision.
Then you pay nothing for it. We escalate through secondary channels and refile with additional evidence while the case is live, and if the platform still keeps the review up there is no charge.

Related services

We only report reviews that genuinely break platform policy (spam, fake reviews, conflicts of interest, offensive content, irrelevant complaints). We do not remove legitimate customer feedback, and removal is always the platform's decision, not ours. You are invoiced only for reviews that are successfully removed.
